Harbhajan Singh will play his best friend Sachin Tendulkar in the Indian Premier League after the Mumbai franchise paid $850,000 for his services at the auction.

Off-spinner Harbhajan may have been more keen to have played with Yuvraj Singh at his native Mohali centre, but Mumbai bid the most for him and he will now line up along side the likes of highest paid player (apart from Tendulkar) Sanath Jayasuriya and Shaun Pollock.
